Research Assistant
Pacôme DUCORAIL is a research assistant at ICES. His research interests include diplomatic links between China and the EU, strategic narratives, as well as energy transition and the geopolitics of the Indo-Pacific region. He holds a dual Master's degree from Sciences Po Bordeaux, France and LUISS, Italy in International Relations, as well as a MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe. His latest Master's thesis focused on the Strategic Narratives employed by the EU and China during COVID on X. After graduating in 2024, he interned as a Blue Book at the European Commission in 2025 in DG INTPA, working with the South and South-East Asia Team on Development Cooperation, Energy Infrastructure, and civil society engagement.
