
Webinar on The Role of the EU and China in a Global Security Dilemma
As part of the ICES DIALOGUE SERIES: 50 Years of EU-China Relations, and the the Institute for China-Europe Studies (ICES) is organizing a webinar on:
The ICES is a Brussels-based think tank seeking to foster better mutual understanding
between China and Europe by supporting academic research in a broad range of fields
including but not limited to business & trade, international law, ocean management and
global governance.
Initiated by the Hainan Free Trade Port Research Foundation, the ICES also aims to
increase knowledge-sharing avenues between China and Europe with a focus on the
development of free trade ports in general, and on the Hainan Free Trade Port and the
development of Hainan Island into a pilot zone of ecological conservation in particular.
To achieve its objectives, the ICES will organise academic events and exhibitions,
publish research papers and reports, as well as support academic exchanges, so as to
promote the free flow of ideas and people between Europe and China.
